This is her true story and will be the first time she has told it publicly. We really do have to ‘walk our talk’ and take opportunities to ‘jump out of the box’. Who knows where our adventures may lead us and what things we may learn?  This is her (unexpurgated) story.

EXPERIENCING BEING A VOLUNTEER AT THE ELEPHANT NATURE PARK

Gill was a volunteer at the Elephant Nature Park, Chiang Mai, Thailand in December 2012. It was totally uplifting and a privilege to spend time at the park which is dedicated to caring for the rescued elephants, nurturing them and giving them the respect they deserve. The determination of a Thai lady called Lek has made this possible - she is totally dedicated to animals, people and the environment. Gill will share some her experiences of being a volunteer in a place where the combined positive energies of selfless people has created a Heaven on Earth for 35 rescued elephants (and about 460 dogs Lek simply couldn’t turn her back on!!!)."
